Imizamo Yethu Spiritual Outreaches
Reaching out to the people of Imizamo Yethu is the primary task of the HBCCA.
The spiritual side of reaching out in particular plays a major role in our daily
contact with the people of Imizamo Yethu. Old age, poverty, illnesses, social
problems such as alcohol and drug abuse, unemployment, child and women abuse,
crime, etc. are all issues which force people daily to come to Iziko Lobomi for
help. A church service is held every Monday morning and every day time is set
aside for prayer for everyone (staff, volunteers and visitors) present at Iziko
Lobomi.
Organised outreaches, outside Iziko Lobomi into the broader community are also
held from time to time. These outreaches will include literature distribution to
homes, special evening services and spiritual movies shown at Iziko Lobomi.
Bibles are also distributed and offered on sale at HBCCA-subsidised prices.
